Damian Robert Bennett – DRB Floats
After many years in the construction industry, and having worked for several major horse float brands, Damian recognised a market need for quality Australian built bespoke trailers and DRB Floats was born in 2006.
A trade certified Coach & Motor Body Builder/ Boiler Maker/ Welder/ Fabricator, Damian has over 25 years experience.
His passion is turning thoughts into reality, hence the decision to cast aside industry standard “cookie cutters” and dedicate his business to top quality, custom built horse floats and trailers.

Designed for round bales but great for squares too, the bale is rolled in sideways via a drop down mesh floor. The core stays dry even in the worst weather. Stops the ratbags from rolling them round the paddock and making a nest! I don't know about you but I used to get at least 50% wastage - NO MORE!
Rigorously tested over the past 5 years with the worst hay wreckers. Safe and strong, no sharp pointy bits. Tow it around with your quad. Designed by us, it's a DRB original! 100% AUSTRALIAN galvanised steel.

Your new float is backed by a 10-year structural warranty and your first service is on the house! If at any time you have any questions or concerns about your trailer we are only a phone call away. Damian is very knowledgeable about all aspects of building, loading and towing trailers and he hasn’t had a question he can’t answer yet. We regularly travel to competitions around South East Queensland and Northern NSW so if you see us, come and say “Hi”. We'd love to talk trailers with you.
It’s all about the horses:
In every horse float or truck we build the horse comes first! We won’t build something our own horses wouldn’t be happy in. All our trailers are designed for maximum safety, strength and comfort. The human luxuries will not impact your horse’s safety and happiness.
Custom doesn’t mean expensive!
It just means you get what you need. It is more cost effective to custom build a float to suit your requirements than to modify an existing structure.

We service,repair and modify most makes and models of horse trailers and trucks. We are also the preferred repairers for numerous caravan manufacturers and insurance companies.
We fit gooseneck hitches, turntables and manufacture custom trays for utes and small trucks to accommodate large trailers.
